Developed by a family just like yours!

You heard that correctly, Sports Edge was born at a family dinner table of a regular family. One evening 5 years ago when two sisters and their parents were trying to figure out how to get their combined 5 kids to all of their sports. It's a problem most multi-children families face. "Who's getting whom from school and taking them or picking them up from practice?" It becomes even more difficult when the children start to outnumber the adults! Alas, Sports Edge was born. The thought of having 1 place to take the kids was intoxicating. These large facilities are all over the US in cold climates, so why not here in Florida where we have rain everyday, unfathomable heat and giant sized mosquitos to contend with. And so the development of Sports Edge began.

Sports Edge opened in 2016 in the heart of Northeast Florida to create an indoor sports facility like none other in Jacksonville. As the largest and most innovative indoor sports complex in the area, Sports Edge has become a destination for families, athletes, businesses, and guests alike.

We host over 50 sporting & special interest events annually comprising of over 30,000 athletes, coaches, officials, & spectators in attendance. Sports Edge hosts all tournaments and events under one roof at its 75,000 square foot training center right here in Jacksonville, Florida.

This facility is home to Jacksonville Juniors Volleyball Association, Sports Edge Baseball and Basketball.

St Johns County - Sports Edge Beach

5404 Race Track Road, St. Johns, FL 32259

Located on Racetrack Road, east of Interstate 95 and West of U.S. 1, Sports Edge Beach is phase one of the Sports Edge Complex. Sports Edge Beach is the outdoor component to the larger 150,000 sq ft indoor facility planned to be constructed adjacent to the beach.

Sports Edge Beach will be the largest sand complex in Northeast Florida hosting 10 sand volleyball courts that are easily converted to sand soccer fields. The beach will host volleyball, soccer, flag football, kickball, and many more activities throughout the year. Programming will range from beginners to elite athletes in addition to adult programming.

St Johns County - Sports Edge Indoor Facility - Coming Soon

Located adjacent to Sports Edge Beach, the Sports Edge Indoor training facility is phase two of the Sports Edge complex. Sports Edge St. Johns will consist of over 150,000 sq ft of indoor regulation courts and playing fields for more than a dozen sports under one roof.

Sports Edge indoor sports training facility will boast volleyball courts, batting cages, multi-use turf fields, performance training facilities, athletic membership clubs, a sports-themed restaurant, and basketball courts. Sports Edge will be the premier destination for clubs, tournaments, and competitions. Sports Edge will also feature extensive recreational facilities, including a fitness center, sports-themed restaurant, and bar, as well as event and meeting spaces. It’s a place where athletes, fans, families, and businesses can get together in groups large and small to enjoy unique, world-class facilities. From individual and team training to birthday parties to national sporting events, Sports Edge will deliver an unparalleled experience for all of our fans and athletes.
