Jacksonville, FL — Sports Edge Beach is proud to welcome Savannah Siegrist as the newest Beach Volleyball Club Coach and Training Specialist. A dynamic addition to the coaching staff, Siegrist brings elite-level experience as both a player and coach and is set to make an immediate impact on the continued development of the club’s growing beach volleyball program.
A 2018 graduate of Jacksonville University, Savannah rejoined the JU Beach Volleyball program in January 2024 as an assistant coach and now expands her influence by joining Sports Edge Beach to help lead athlete training, technical development, and competitive strategy.
“Savannah is an incredible addition to the Sports Edge Beach family,” said Daniel Magnusson, Director of Beach Volleyball. “Her passion for the game, her proven success at the collegiate level, and her deep understanding of athlete development are exactly what we look for in our coaching staff. Our athletes are going to benefit tremendously from her leadership on and off the sand.”
Savannah began her collegiate playing career at JU, where she led the Dolphins in wins as part of the #1 pairing and recorded standout victories over ranked programs such as North Florida and South Carolina. She later transferred to the University of Oregon, where she completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Sports Business while competing for three years and earning 29 career wins.
Since 2016, Siegrist has built an impressive coaching résumé that includes roles with South River Volleyball Club, Grit Volleyball, Dynamic Volleyball Academy, Oregon Sand Volleyball, and Sandsharks Beach Volleyball. Her background also includes work with USA Volleyball’s Beach High Performance Program, both as a player and a coach, helping to develop top youth athletes at the national level.
Most recently, she served as Head Men’s Beach Volleyball Coach at Webber International University, where she led the team to a 3rd place finish at the AVCA Men’s National Championship in the fall of 2024.
Siegrist joins Sports Edge Beach at a time of exciting growth, as the club continues to expand its reach and reputation for excellence in youth beach volleyball. Her commitment to athlete development and competitive excellence aligns perfectly with the program’s vision for long-term success.
We are thrilled to welcome Savannah to our team and can’t wait to see her impact on the next generation of beach athletes.
